The Qilin ransomware group claims to have breached Mobidic Asset Management, a South Korean private equity fund management organization operating since 2021. The company, which manages a capital of 6 billion won ($4.2 million), has allegedly had sensitive corporate and client data exfiltrated during the attack.
According to the actor, the compromised data from the breach is extensive and includes 39 GB of files. The allegedly exfiltrated information includes:
- Investors’ personal data
- Full names
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
- Work reports
- Internal financial documentation
- Corporate development plans
