A threat actor has claimed responsibility for breaching the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) and leaking sensitive data from the organization’s database. Threat actor posted an SQL file purportedly containing information from the CNR’s database.
According to the post, the leaked database includes information related to various projects and research efforts conducted by the CNR. The threat actor emphasized that the breach did not involve any personal information such as email addresses, phone numbers, or passwords.
The post included a sample of the data, along with a download link for the complete database.
