A threat actor claims to have breached North East Multi-Regional Training, Inc. (NEMRT). NEMRT is a U.S.-based organization that provides training programs and services to law enforcement agencies, primarily in Illinois.
The actor posted a database allegedly from the police training website, www.nemrt.com, stating that the data includes 2,071 lines of user information.
According to the actor, the passwords in the database are not hashed and are exposed as plaintext. The compromised data allegedly includes several files, such as ACCOUNT.csv, CREDCARD.csv, emails.csv, Staff.csv, and users.csv.
The exposed data reportedly includes:
- Full names
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
- Usernames
- Plaintext passwords
- Credit card information
