Part2: A Threat Actor Claims to Release More Ticketmaster Tickets, Posted New Ransom Demand

A threat actor has claimed to escalate their attack on Ticketmaster, offering over 30,000 more tickets for various events and providing a tutorial for creating printable tickets. The group disputes Ticketmaster’s claim that their SafeTix technology makes barcodes unusable once shared, arguing that physical ticket types like Ticketfast, e-tickets, and mail tickets can still be exploited.

In their statement, the hackers list numerous artists and shows included in the compromised ticket database, such as:

  • P!NK: Summer Carnival 2024
  • Aerosmith: PEACE OUT The Farewell Tour
  • Chris Brown: The 11:11 Tour
  • Neil Young: Crazy Horse – Love Earth Tour
  • Alanis Morissette: The Triple Moon Tour
  • Red Hot Chili Peppers: Unlimited Love Tour
  • Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band 2024 Tour
  • USHER: Past Present Future
  • Pearl Jam
  • Sammy Hagar
  • Stevie Nicks
  • Steve Miller Band
  • Cirque du Soleil

The threat actor challenges Ticketmaster’s public statements and offers a step-by-step guide for creating printable tickets using official Ticketmaster guidelines. They warn Ticketmaster to reset 30,000 more tickets and demand a ransom of $2 million. If their demands are not met, they threaten to leak barcodes for all remaining mail and e-tickets for upcoming events.
