A threat actor claims to have breached Polixir Yazılım, a Turkish software company providing policy management systems for the insurance industry. The incident allegedly compromises the data of 2,300 Turkish insurance companies that use the firm’s software, including major providers such as Aksigorta, Hepiyi Sigorta, and AXA Sigorta.
According to the actor, the massive 40 GB database for sale contains 144,855 files and 7,052 folders. The exfiltrated information reportedly includes customer data, policy data, internal communications, financial data, company details, tax numbers, insurance policies, contracts, and commercial documents.
