Safran SA Data Breach Exposes Aerospace Supply Chain Records

Safran S.A., a French multinational aerospace and defense company, has allegedly been compromised after a threat actor posted its database and internal files on a popular hacking forum. The aerospace giant, which serves as a primary hub for corporate news, investor relations, and technical product information, reportedly generates €27.3 billion in revenue. The leak purportedly impacts 1,030,031 lines of internal records.

According to the actor, the allegedly compromised data includes an extensive array of customer, order, and supply chain information. The leaked records include:

  • Order IDs and Order Header IDs

  • Sales Order Numbers and ERP Reference IDs

  • Customer PO Numbers and Customer IDs

  • Customer Names

  • Customer Email Addresses

  • Customer Phone Numbers

  • Order Statuses, Sources, and Currencies

  • Ordered Quantities and Units of Measure

  • Part Numbers and Part Descriptions

  • Supplier Codes

  • Unit Selling Prices and Discount Percentages

  • Shipping Dates, Carriers, and Delivery Numbers

  • AWBs / Bills of Lading

  • Shipment Priorities and AOG Indicators

  • Created Dates, Promise Dates, and Last Updated Dates
