Saint Lucia Citizenship by Investment Programme Data Breach

The Saint Lucia Citizenship by Investment Programme (CIP), a government initiative that allows foreign individuals and their families to acquire Saint Lucian citizenship through financial investment, has allegedly been compromised. A database containing over 1.1 million rows of highly sensitive applicant and administrative data was published on a cybercrime forum by an unidentified actor.

The allegedly compromised data includes extensive personal, financial, and administrative records. According to the actor and the provided database sample, the compromised data includes:

  • Full names

  • Email addresses

  • Physical mailing addresses

  • Phone numbers

  • Dates of birth

  • Genders

  • Hashed passwords

  • Passport numbers

  • Detailed application documentation (including paths to birth certificates, CVs, police clearance certificates, bank references, and proof of net worth)

  • Investment types and amounts
