Secretaría de Seguridad del Estado de México Data Breach

Secretaría de Seguridad del Estado de México (SSEDOMEX), the state public security agency responsible for law enforcement and emergency response in the State of Mexico, has allegedly been compromised. A massive database containing a decade’s worth of highly sensitive emergency call records has reportedly been put up for sale on a cybercrime forum for $1,200 USD. The dataset allegedly includes 3,652 Excel files containing both 911 emergency and 089 non-emergency service reports spanning from 2016 to 2026.

The allegedly compromised data includes:

  • Full names of callers and victims

  • Phone numbers

  • Specific addresses, geographic coordinates, and location references

  • Detailed incident logs and categorization (including highly sensitive crimes such as sexual assault)

  • Call notes, response times, and unit dispatch information

  • Call resolution outcomes and follow-up data
