An unidentified actor claims to have breached Sky Airline, Chile’s second-largest airline. The Santiago-based low-cost carrier, which operates services to over 40 destinations in eight countries and has a subsidiary in Peru, was the subject of a data leak posted on a hacking forum.
The actor has publicly leaked the allegedly exfiltrated data, making a 10GB ‘wpress’ file, likely a WordPress backup, available for public download. The post explicitly states the data was shared for analysis after being successfully hacked from the airline.
