A threat actor claims to have breached The Society of Engineers – UAE, a professional non-profit organization established in 1979 to promote the engineering profession in the United Arab Emirates. The society serves as a platform for engineers to network, access educational resources, enhance their professional development, and collaborate with government bodies.
According to the actor, the allegedly exfiltrated database totals 239 GB and contains 417,057 files. The compromised information reportedly includes highly sensitive personal documents such as ID cards, education certificates, visas, and passports.
