A threat actor claims to have breached STMicroelectronics (ST), a global semiconductor company headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. The company designs, develops, and manufactures a broad range of semiconductor integrated circuits and discrete devices for over 800,000 customers worldwide, serving industries such as telecommunications, automotive, and industrial automation.
According to the actor, the initial leak contains filetree of over 18,000 files. The allegedly exfiltrated data includes a wide variety of corporate information, such as internal documents, presentations, spreadsheets, database files, product data, inventory reports, sales leads, and internal email messages.
