A threat actor uploaded an alleged database of www.gov.il to a dark web forum. The website where the data is leaked from is for Israeli citizens to deal with their government affairs and bureaucratic tasks.
According to the post, the database was leaked due to an API vulnerability. The post owner also shared sample data. This sample shows that the leaked information consists of names, phone numbers, plates, date of birth and address.
The threat actor shares the leaked data free of charge, there are no price tags on the post and a total of 268,938 data is compromised.
