Threat Actor Claims to Leak Database of Opaxe, Impacting 16,000 Users and 5.5 Million Records

A threat actor claims to have leaked the database of Opaxe, a smart software platform that reconfigures and redistributes information, providing business insights to mining professionals and investors to facilitate better decision-making.

Alleged Data Details
According to the threat actor, the leaked data is in .SQL format and dates back to June 26, 2024. The database reportedly includes information on 16,006 users, encompassing a total of 5.5 million rows. Opaxe’s official website is https://www.opaxe.com/.

Sample Data Shared
The threat actor has allegedly shared a sample of the leaked data, which includes columns such as:

INSERT INTO `activity_log` (`id`, `log_name`, `description`, `subject_id`, `subject_type`, `causer_id`, `causer_type`, `properties`, `created_at`, `updated_at`) VALUES
This sample indicates that activity logs and potentially sensitive user interactions may be part of the exposed data.

Implications
If the claims are accurate, the leak of Opaxe’s database could have significant repercussions for the company and its users. The exposed data might include sensitive information about user activities and interactions on the platform. Mining professionals and investors who rely on Opaxe for critical business insights could be at risk of having their confidential information accessed and misused by malicious actors.

Potential Risks
The breach poses several risks, including unauthorized access to proprietary business insights and personal user information. This could lead to identity theft, data manipulation, and a loss of trust among Opaxe’s user base. The company will need to take swift action to secure their systems, investigate the breach, and mitigate any potential harm to their clients and business operations.
