A threat actor has surfaced, claiming possession of a database containing details of 3 million credit cards from the USA. According to the actor, the cards have a validity rate of 25-40%, and they are offering this data for sale at an initial price of $180,000, with increments of $10,000, and a buy-it-now price set at $300,000. The hacker is also targeting potential buyers by providing 30 sample cards for free to verify the authenticity of the data.
In addition to the American cards, the threat actor has expressed the capability to access credit card data from Europe and Asia, expanding the potential impact of this breach significantly.
