Zebra Technologies Allegedly Suffers Major Source Code Data Breach

Zebra Technologies, an American multinational technology company specializing in marking, tracking, and computer printing solutions, has allegedly been compromised. A threat actor on a popular breach forum has claimed responsibility for a significant security incident involving the theft of sensitive internal assets. The breach, which reportedly occurred in January 2026, affects a company with annual revenues exceeding $5.3 billion. The leak allegedly includes extensive repositories related to Zebra’s core products as well as its acquisitions, such as Profitect (now part of Zebra Prescriptive Analytics) and Antuit.

The allegedly compromised data includes:

  • Source code for multiple internal projects and acquired platforms (e.g., Profitect, Antuit).

  • SQL files containing database schemas, scripts, and stored procedures.

  • Configuration files for various environments (Dev, QA, Stage, Prod).

  • Terraform files and infrastructure-as-code definitions.

  • API tokens and hardcoded credentials.

  • Directory trees indicating client-specific infrastructure configurations (e.g., Ahold, Boots, IKEA, Walgreens).

  • Internal documentation and automation framework files.
