Abyss Data Breach Group Claims Targeting World Architects, Compromising 9.5TB of Data

On May 07th, 2024, Wold Architects & Engineers was recently added to the list of victims by the Abyss data breach group. Wold Architects and Engineers is a dynamic growth-oriented company providing a wide range of services for its predominately public-sector clients, including troubleshooting and problem solving for existing facility issues and new facility design. Allegedly, the company’s systems were infiltrated, resulting in the exfiltration of over data, totaling 9.5 terabayt in size. The attackers have shared such a large amount of data in 17 parts, but they haven’t provided any information about the passwords. The one question: How could such was leaked a large amount of data without detection ?
