According to claims published on a dark web forum, a threat actor has purportedly obtained a database containing information of approximately 1.8 million Mexican citizens.
The alleged breach, as claimed by the threat actors, supposedly contains 1.2 million email addresses among other personal information. The threat actors claim the compromised data is approximately 200MB in size and stored in CSV format.
These claims surface nearly three years after the “Guacamaya” incident of September 2022. That breach involved the exposure of sensitive communications between national security agencies regarding presidential health information and details about the “Culiacanazo” incident.
