In a recent post on a dark web forum, a threat actor has allegedly leaked a database claimed to belong to the Bangladesh Navy. The post, shared on BreachForums, included a download link and an image preview purportedly showcasing the compromised data.
According to the threat actor’s claims, the breach allegedly exposed thousands of records containing sensitive personal and professional information. This includes names, usernames, email addresses, ranks, assessments, achievements, and department details. Additionally, the post claims the leak features records related to sailor basics, disciplinary actions, leave acknowledgments, and training histories.
The threat actor alleges that the compromised data includes the following categories:
- Personal Information: Names, usernames, email addresses, ranks
- Professional Details: Assessments, achievements, department information
- Operational Records: Sailor basics, firings, problem bars, leave acknowledgments, training histories
