A threat actor has allegedly claimed to have infiltrated the internal network of Sicoob, one of Brazil’s most prominent cooperative banks. The allegations were posted on a dark web forum, where the individual asserted that they had maintained access to the bank’s systems for an extended period.
According to the threat actor’s post, they allegedly exploited multiple vulnerabilities in Sicoob’s systems to steal over 80GB of confidential data. The database reportedly contains sensitive information, including personal details of customers and employees, financial records, and loan details.
The actor is allegedly selling access to a 4GB sample of the stolen data and offering the full database for $10,000. They provided a link to Sicoob’s official website alongside their claims, directing potential buyers to contact them privately via the forum or Telegram.
