Cephalus Ransomware Allegedly Breaches Coco Yachts, Wilder Law Firm, Texas Pregnancy Care Network, and Colorado Health Network

The ransomware group known as Cephalus has allegedly updated its data leak portal, listing four new organizations as its latest victims. The diverse, international list of targets includes a Dutch luxury yacht designer and several organizations based in the United States, including a law firm and two healthcare non-profits. The threat actors claim to have exfiltrated a significant volume of sensitive data from these entities and are threatening to publish it soon.

Among the victims, the claims against the luxury yacht company, Coco Yachts, are particularly alarming, with the group alleging the theft of over 1.8 terabytes of data. This compromised information allegedly includes projects, client and employee details, and most notably, “a certain country’s naval ship design.” Furthermore, the Colorado Health Network was also listed, with the attackers claiming to have exfiltrated over 900 GB of data. The other victims were also named, with the group stating that data leaks are “coming soon.”

The organizations allegedly impacted by the Cephalus group are:

  • πŸ‡³πŸ‡± Coco Yachts: A Netherlands-based company specializing in luxury yacht and ferry design.
  • πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Wilder Law Firm: A law firm based in the United States.
  • πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Texas Pregnancy Care Network: A non-profit organization operating in Texas, USA.
