A threat actor has purportedly disclosed a significant cache of data labeled as the “India Banks Loans Customers Database.” The leaked dataset, containing approximately 230,000 records, comprises a comprehensive array of sensitive information. Among the disclosed details are Dealer ID, Application Login Date, Application Status, Bank Name, Personal Information such as First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Date of Birth (DOB), Zip Code, City, and State. Additionally, the dataset includes Personal Mobile Numbers, Approved Amount by Chief Risk Officer (CRO), Dealer Names, Asset Categories, Asset Model Numbers, Applied Amounts, Serial Numbers/IMEI Numbers, Remarks, and Personal Email Addresses.
Notably, the compromised records pertain to customers associated with various banks, including Citizen Credit Cooperative Bank Limited, Baroda Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited, Central Bank Of India, Bandhan Bank Limited, Union Bank Of India, Punjab National Bank, State Bank Of India, Indian Overseas Bank, ICICI Bank Limited, Bank Of Baroda, Canara Bank, Indian Bank, IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, AXIS Bank, UCO Bank, heightening concerns about potential risks to customer privacy and financial security.
