The RansomHouse ransomware group claims to have compromised LawSoft, Inc., a technology firm specializing in software solutions for law enforcement and emergency services. Based in Bloomingdale, New Jersey, LawSoft, Inc. provides critical infrastructure including Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management Systems (RMS), and Fire/EMS reporting tools to over 100 public safety agencies. The threat actors allege that the company’s IT department attempted to conceal the breach, which reportedly began with the encryption of systems in early January 2025.
According to the actor, the allegedly compromised data includes:
-
