The Qilin ransomware group claims to have breached four international companies: Chinup Technology Co., a Taiwanese machinery manufacturer; Chris Rodriguez Installers (CRI), a US-based furniture installer; Meduane Habitat, a French social housing provider; and APM Finance GmbH, a German automotive accounting firm. This broad attack across multiple industries and countries highlights the group’s extensive reach and the diverse nature of its targets.
According to the group, the allegedly exfiltrated data includes sensitive information from all four victims. This includes technical drawings and financial data from Chinup; financial and personal employee/client data from CRI; personal information of tenants, employees, and financial records from Meduane Habitat; and extensive financial data and personal information of employees and clients from APM Finance.
