SEKISUI Aerospace Data Breach: 53GB of Sensitive ITAR-Controlled Technical Data for Sale

A threat actor is publicly selling a 53GB archive of highly sensitive, ITAR-controlled (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) technical data allegedly stolen from SEKISUI Aerospace Corporation (SA). SEKISUI Aerospace, a subsidiary of SEKISUI Chemical Japan, is a Tier-1 direct supplier for major aerospace and defense programs, including Boeing (737/787), Spirit AeroSystems, Triumph Group, and various U.S. military projects. The actor explicitly noted that the data is marked as “EXPORT CONTROLLED – EAR 9E991 / ITAR Technical Data,” which underscores the gravity of the compromise. The data is being offered for a price of $75,000, with mandatory escrow and a single-copy restriction.

According to the actor, the allegedly compromised data includes:

  • Technical PDF files: Complete technical drawings and specifications.

  • Complete STEP files (AP242): 3D models directly importable and producible in CAD software like CATIA V5-6R2022 and SolidWorks 2018-2024.

  • Complete Bill of Materials (BOM): Including real Boeing part numbers.

  • Complete Tooling & Fixture data: For critical components like the Boeing 737 MAX Keel Skin Splice Strap and 787 Section 41 Nose.

  • Sensitive materials information: Data related to Carbon Fiber Prepreg, Thermoplastic PEI/PPS, Aluminum 6061-T6, and Titanium inserts.

  • Process Specification documents: According to Boeing BAC specifications.

  • Tolerances: Up to $\pm0.0005$ inch, with GD&T according to ASME Y14.5.
