COPPEL stands out as a nationwide retail giant and ranks among the top 100 largest companies. With a swift expansion trajectory, it presently boasts over 1,600 stores across Mexico. The threat actor alleges possession of more than 220,000+ records from this database and notably refrains from specifying any associated fees. The absence of any established reputation for the actor, coupled with their recent registration on the forum, indeed raises suspicions regarding the credibility of the attack. Such factors often indicate a higher likelihood of malicious intent or deception.
