In a concerning development, a threat actor has surfaced, purporting to sell unauthorized access to a hosting provider infrastructure. With a purported control over a vast network of more than 120,000 registered domains, the offering includes coveted privileges such as root access and administrative panel control. The hosting provider’s revenue, estimated at approximately $16 million, underscores the scale of the operation. Moreover, the actor claims to provide access to all top-level domains (.tld) and boasts a comprehensive dataset exceeding 50 terabytes, accessible through administrative panels including cPanel, WHM, and VNC. The price tag attached to this illicit access stands at a staggering $80,000, raising significant concerns about the potential misuse and security implications of such unauthorized access.
