UserSec, NoName057(16), and Cyber Army of Russia Target UK’s Economic Sector

In a concerning development, UserSec, in collaboration with NoName057(16) and the Cyber Army of Russia, has announced its concerted efforts to target the UK’s economic sector through a series of cyber attacks. The group claims to have disabled the websites of housing and communal services, as well as several large logistics companies, in a bid to disrupt critical operations and infrastructure within the country.

Allegedly, the group executed distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks on prominent entities including Diamond Logistics, ETA Logistics, and Citizen Housing, further exacerbating concerns over the resilience of the UK’s economic ecosystem against cyber threats. These coordinated attacks underscore the evolving challenges posed by cyber warfare and highlight the imperative need for robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard against potential disruptions and protect vital infrastructure.
