GhostSec Shifts from Financial Motivation to Pure Hacktivism, Ceases Cybercrime Services

GhostSec has declared its departure from the realm of financial motivation and a return to its roots of pure hacktivism. The group, known for its involvement in cybercrime and ransomware activities, has decided to cease providing services and shut down current operations.

In their official announcement, GhostSec stated their decision to discontinue financial-driven cyber activities, citing a shift in focus towards hacktivism. As part of this transition, services provided by GhostSec, including their ransomware Ghostlocker, will be terminated. However, they have pledged to transfer the code of Ghostlocker V3 to Stormous, ensuring a seamless transition for existing users without any exit scam.

While discontinuing financial endeavors, GhostSec will maintain its private channel and chat room. Additionally, the group has announced a limited-time offer, providing lifetime access to the private channel and chat room at a discounted rate until May 23rd.

Expressing gratitude for ongoing support, GhostSec emphasized their commitment to effecting positive change in the world. They invite individuals to join their cause, offering encouragement to pursue personal freedom, dreams, and goals while passing on these values to future generations.
