Disturbing news surfaces as a threat actor claims to have leaked the database of the Procuraduría General de la República (Attorney General’s Office of the Republic). In a brazen announcement, the threat actor declares the release of the entire database, which has been divided into multiple parts for easier distribution, and emphasizes that it is freely accessible to all.
The leaked database, exported from a SQL server, reportedly spans a staggering 37 GB, comprising over 2,000 tables with millions of records. Additionally, the threat actor claims to have included complete files of both the backend and frontend systems, totaling over 4 GB, along with other CSV files, VPN access credentials, IP addresses of servers, and various other credentials. This revelation raises serious concerns about the security and privacy of sensitive information held by the Attorney General’s Office, underscoring the persistent threat of cyber attacks on governmental institutions.
